Jay

Hailing from the backwoods of Massachusetts, I grew up listening to whatever my hill-billy family was listening to. Elvis Presley, George Jones, Willie Nelson and Tammy Wynette were all staples in my house. As I got older during the 1980s, my own tastes soon ran towards Top 40, and then on to my favorite genre: Rockabilly. Moving to LA with my rockabilly band in the mid 90s was an eye-opener (we didn’t exactly light the world on fire). However, it did give me an appreciation for the amount of tenacity and talent required for any band to make it.
